Our client is a leading producer of chemical & metal products, with global operations.

Job Description

• Fixed Asset Management: Maintain and oversee the company's fixed asset records, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.
• Payroll: Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and reporting requirements.
• Pension Administration: Act as the administrator for defined contribution (DC) and defined benefit (DB) pension plans, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance.
• Employee Benefits Renewal: Coordinate the annual renewal process for employee benefits, analyzing options and communicating changes to staff.
• Insurance Renewal: Manage the insurance renewal process, including evaluating coverage options and negotiating terms with providers.
• HST Management: Ensure accurate management and reporting of Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Utility Costing: Analyze and monitor utility costs, identifying trends and opportunities for cost reduction.
• KPI Reporting: Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Yearly Audit Requirements: Prepare for and facilitate the yearly audit process, ensuring all financial records are accurate and complete.
• Yearly Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process, working with department heads to create and monitor departmental budgets.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA or actively pursuing the designation is a requirement
• Minimum of +6 years' experience in financial management or controlling, preferably in Manufacturing
• Strong understanding of fixed asset management, payroll, and pension plans
• Proficient in financial software - SAP & Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
