Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Program Support Clerk to join the team at the Central Community Health Centre in North Vancouver, BC. Apply today to join our team!

As a Program Support Clerk you will

  • Compose and word process correspondence and maintain and monitor client charts.
  • Receive and input confidential client data into a variety of health data systems such as CCIMS, iPHIS and Procura.
  • Set up filing systems, gathers and compiles statistics, and engages in on-going team planning and quality improvement activities.


Education & Experience

  • Grade 12 supplemented with an Office Administration Certificate and two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment.
  • Ability to keyboard 5,000 keystrokes per hour.
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients.
  • Ability to communicate effectively/tactfully both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to compose business correspondence.Ability to organize and prioritize.
  • Ability to work under the pressure of interruptions and adapt to changes.
  • Ability to problem solve and take initiative.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to do basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.


The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
