This permanent opportunity is based locally in Fort McMurray, with bussing provided to and from the site each workday. The ideal candidate for this role will be local to Fort McMurray.

What would you be doing?

  • Command massive Haul Trucks and other heavy machinery within the confines of an open pit mine
  • Execute assigned heavy equipment operations with a keen focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Immerse yourself in our safety and culture-building initiatives.
  • Embrace opportunities for training on cutting-edge equipment.

Does this sound like you?

  • Minimum of 2000 hours of experience behind a 773+ Haul Truck, Articulating Truck, D6+ Dozer, OR 250+ Excavator, Loader, or Grader.
  • Valid driver's license with 3-year driver's abstract required.
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO).
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
  • High school diplomas and post-secondary degrees are considered assets.
