Operations Specialist

Description

We are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join our client in Chilliwack, BC. This role will require strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work in a team environment. You will be involved in employee training, evaluating and ensuring efficiency, and enforcing policies and a procedures to create a safe working environment. Experience as a supervisor/leader in a manufacturing environment is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage an employee training schedule that promotes productivity and efficient use of resources
• Assess and optimize manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency
• Enforce in-house and regulatory safety policies and procedures to minimize potential job-related injuries
• Take on responsibility for manufacturing processes in the assigned area
• Ensure clear and open communication between employees and management
• Oversee the efficient and correct usage of all resources and assets
• Drive productivity management and quality assurance inspections
• Manage a team efficiently, ensuring quality assurance
• Take proactive measures to drive productivity within the team
  
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• 5+ years working in manufacturing or construction environment
• 2+ years of experience working in supervisor/leadership position
• Vast experience working with hand tools, power tools, and tape measures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect finished items
