Education Requirements
- Registered by Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Experience in a computerized pharmacy environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a team focus
- Self-directed individual with the ability to work both independently and within an inter professional team
- Mature, reliable individual with excellent attendance record
- Creative problem solver with a customer focus and patient friendly approach
- Good understanding of medication safety and quality assurance
- Proven critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask and set priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
Preferred Competencies
- Reliable individual with excellent attendance record and able to work all shifts
- Chemotherapy preparation experience
- Experience in IV Preparation
- Keyboarding skills utilizing PC applications for reports and special assignments
- Experience in a hospital pharmacy environment
