What You Will Do

• Analyze and document current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement
• Lead or collaborate with technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs, ensuring they are functional and free of defects
• Lead and act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, providing leadership and guidance
• Lead complex projects or multiple initiatives, often involving large-scale systems and cross-functional teams
• Mentor and train junior analysts, guiding them through the analysis phase and ensuring alignment with strategic goals
• Play a key role in decision-making and project direction, influencing strategic discussions
• Ensure successful project delivery from initiation to completion, maintaining quality, timeliness, and budget adherence
• Maintain accurate documentation on systems, processes, and procedures
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, applying new knowledge to enhance business operations
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support solution implementation and adoption
• Analyze metrics and collaborate with teams on reporting improvements and design of data cubes
• Designs integrations between Nutrien's internal systems and other external systems
  
  

What You Will Bring

• 8-10 years practical experience in application solution design and analysis, with a deep understanding of industry and solution practices
• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related equivalent
• Familiar with design-thinking approach to problem solving and AGILE methodologies
• Proven expert capability and experience managing requirements gathering initiatives across multiple teams and business areas
• Hands on expertise in functional solution design and delivery across a software development lifecycle
• Effective with creative solutioning and communication to influence and facilitate resolution of a problem/business challenge with ability to use
• Negotiation skills when appropriate
• Exceptional communication, both written and verbal, and facilitation skills
• Ability to work independently or as a team with both technical and non-technical staff
• Willingness to learn, teach and share information with teammates, peers, management, and users
• Able to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize solution development efforts
• Results-driven individual who thrives on new challenges and opportunities
