Overview

At Futurecare, the Business Office Administrative Assistant will work under the supervision of the Regional Director of LTC Patient Accounting to maintain the resident accounts. This is a variety of duties and responsibilities

such as day to day review, input, processing, and coordination of billing and receivable information between the Facility and the Corporate Office.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file Estate Claims
  • Prepare resident account write-off
  • Completing and apply for resident Medicare benefits
  • Assist with requesting documents from outside vendors
  • Prepare checks as needed
  • Prepare reports for Management as assigned
  • Assist with various Facility/Corporate electronic document filing
  • Other duties as assigned by the Regional Director of LTC Patient Accounting

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with college courses in accounting preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience in a long-term care facility or hospital setting preferred
  • Able to pass a credit check
