Reporting to the VP of Cement this role will involve sales of our packaged cement products to various customers along with actively seeking out new clients. THE DAY TO DAY

  • Develop and implement long term strategy to grow sales and market share. Must regularly meet with all stakeholders to identify long term and short-term needs and develop a plan to deliver key metrics.
  • Build, maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Responsible for identifying and prospecting for new customers.
  • Building presentations and leading product line reviews.
  • Collaborate within a high-energy, fast-moving, and supportive team.
  • Travel to customer locations as necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of customer information, sales transactions, and contracts.
  • Prepare and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Manage inventory levels and track product availability.
  • Create and manage customer accounts, including credit applications.
  • Handle invoicing, pricing, and payment inquiries.
  • Support the sales team with documentation and paperwork, including contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years successful sales experience within the building materials industry.
  • Experience in Sales and/or Distribution to the LBM network would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated history of growing profitable sales.
  • Self-driven and result-oriented individual who thrives on building long-lasting relationships based on trust, professionalism, and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Customer-focused attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Ability and willingness to cross the US border.
