A Community Safety Advisor provides consultative and facilitative leadership and support in roles ranging from advocate, educator, convenor, capacity builder to coordinator. Community Safety Advisors are skill-based employees providing subject matter expertise in areas related crime prevention, community safety and sense of safety.


Qualifications:

·        Diploma in related discipline (Community or Social Development, Criminology, Public Administration or equivalent)

·        Bylaw Enforcement and Investigative Skills education or equivalent

·        Experience

·        Conflict Resolution

·        Communication Excellence

·        People Management

·        Project Management

·        Computer Literacy

·        Teamwork

·        BC Drivers License - Class 5

·        RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance
