About The Role

The Solution Architect will play a critical role in designing and delivering comprehensive e-commerce solutions for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital technologies, and architecture frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

What You'll Do

  • Solution Design and Architecture:
    • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing e-commerce architectures using platforms like Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, VTEX, or similar.
    • Create architectural blueprints and technical specifications tailored to complex e-commerce ecosystems.
    • Ensure that proposed solutions align with the client’s e-commerce strategy and customer experience goals.
  • Project Leadership:
    • Lead cross-functional teams, including developers and engineers, through the complete project lifecycle, focusing on-ecommerce challenges and opportunities.
    • Provide technical direction, ensuring e-commerce solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
    • Act as the technical authority throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring best practices are followed for e-commerce projects.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with clients to understand business goals in the e-commerce landscape and translate these into scalable technical solutions.
    • Present e-commerce architecture strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and securing buy-in.
    • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and third-party partners, enduring smooth integration of e-commerce technologies like ERP and PIM systems.
  • Technology Strategy:
    • Stay informed of emerging e-commerce technologies, trends, and best practices, leveraging tools such as Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, and VTEX.
    • Advice clients on technology selections and strategies for future-proof e-commerce solutions.
    • Contribute to the organization’s technology roadmap with a focus on innovation in the e-commerce space.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Implement e-commerce development best practices, including security, performance, and scalability requirements.
    • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to e-commerce coding standards.
    • Oversee the integration of front-end frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar, ensuring smooth customer experiences on all devices.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in solution architecture, with a proven focus on e-commerce solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, VTEX, or similar engines.
  • Successfully led the implementation of at least three B2B or B2C e-commerce solutions.
  • Strong front-end experience with frameworks like React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, etc.
  • Proficiency with modern web technologies (e.g. JavaScript, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs) relevant to e-commerce solutions.
  • Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with integrating e-commerce platforms with ERP, PIM, and payment gateways.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving e-commerce environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in relevant e-commerce platforms or cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of SEO, web analytics, and digital marketing principles.
