About
AML Oceanographic has clocked average annual growth of more than 20% over the past 8 years. How? Most importantly, we’ve built a team that provides outstanding service and truly cares about our customers. AML has a market reputation for two things:
At AML, we do things a bit differently. Think daily huddles. Think Rockefeller Habits, Scaling Up, and the One Page Plan. Think town hall meetings with on-the-fly question & answer sessions. If you are familiar with these concepts - or they interest you - then you might be a fit for AML.
The mission of this role is "Build it, fix it, better it": Assembly and service of Deployment (MVP) Systems with ongoing improvement
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, your day is hands-on and varied. You’ll be assembling large electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring precision and quality while troubleshooting and testing complex assemblies. Whether you’re on the production floor or traveling across the world for product installations and servicing, you’re a key player in delivering reliable solutions. You’ll work towards maintaining a 90% build yield or better, meeting weekly goals with efficiency and accuracy, while proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and safety enhancements. Communication is essential, as you collaborate with team members and support a culture of excellence and adaptability.
In this role, you'll also cross-train in new processes and products each quarter, develop deep product knowledge, and work on honing your hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical assembly skills. If you're detail-oriented, thrive in a dynamic environment, and enjoy problem-solving, this role will allow you to make a real impact.
