Title: Coordinator, Health Emergency Management

Salary: $64,972 to $81,215 (pay range explained below)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)

Location: Stó?lo Nation - Surrey/Chilliwack/Matsqui/Sumas

About The Role

The Coordinator, Health Emergency Management (HEM) is responsible for collaborating with communities, Fraser Health Authority and other health and wellness system partners to support the development and implementation of integrated emergency response, aligning with the overarching Fraser Salish Regional Health and Wellness Service Plan.

About You

  • To be successful in this role you will have A background in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Diploma in Arts, Sociology, Social work, or social services related field with demonstrated coursework or experience in First Nations studies, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Additional assets could be:
  • Recent, relevant, and significant experience (usually acquired over a period of 3 - 4 years)
  • Experience in the regional health authority systems/services, and in particular working with First Nations individuals, communities or organizations on issues related to health and wellness.
  • Experience coordinating and delivering mental health and wellness programs and/or services within community.
  • Experience in developing wellness strategies.

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.

As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
