You make—and own—your decisions. You want to learn more about the design process, and how a team works together to get projects done.

This position is in our Squamish office, located in the heart of Sea to Sky country. Our Squamish office has been in operation for over 20 years, providing engineering and surveying services to the Lions Bay-Squamish-Whistler-Pemberton corridor. Our recent projects include working with various developers on large developments on complex hill-side terrain, as well as working with municipalities on infrastructure rehabilitation.

This position is for the Jan - Aug 2025 work-term, there may be an opportunity to extend the work term depending on project requirements.

YOUR ROLE:

  • Modifying basic design drawings in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Plotting, assembling, and delivering drawing submission packages
  • Preparing project documentation including hard copy and electronic file transfers
  • Maintaining file naming and layer management conventions set by Binnie

  • Completing quality control procedures
  • Preparing and updated as-constructed field record drawings

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Previous work experience in a civil engineering environment
  • Previous exposure to AutoCAD and Civil 3D
