Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Telecom Services industry in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in a hybrid workplace setup. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing credit applications, and maintaining customer records.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain and update customer credit records accurately
• Handle data entry of Accounts Payable invoices and ensure accurate coding
• Conduct regular Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and cheque runs on a weekly basis
• Ensure accurate matching of Purchase Orders (PO) with invoices
• Use MS Dynamics 365 Business Central for various tasks and operations
• Actively monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Coding Invoices, Data Entry, and Invoice Processing
• Maintain an updated tracker for all AP activities.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in Account Payable role or similar position
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Coding Invoices and Data Entry
• Experience with Invoice Processing
• Proficient in using MS Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High degree of accuracy and proficiency in data entry
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.
