Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Manager, Liquor Operations on a permanent basis on our Liquor team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and based in Saskatoon, SK.

What you’ll do:

  • Provides operations support for Liquor programs including central flyer, allocations and exclusives, private LTOs, competitor price verification and contests and ensures all liquor jurisdictional regulations are adhered to.
  • Support liquor stores by providing input and operational expertise for pricing and analytic requirements including price strategy development, competitor analysis and micro strategies data.
  • Develop strategies and processes to improve liquor profitability and operational costs by providing input and collaboration with local Co-ops and FCL Liquor Category team to develop new and innovative consumer programs and products that improve consumer relevance.
  • May need to support any project/initiatives in Liquor operations, from input to project development, technical, operational or execution support.
  • Approximately 30% annual travel is required.

The Team: You will work closely with the Zone teams, local Co-ops, local Co-op Operations Managers/Directors, GM’s/CEOs, Home Office Liquor Department, Supplier stakeholders, will have 1 direct report, and will report into the Director Liquor. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, expertise, and results.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

  • Have 8 + years of relevant progressively responsible experience in marketing and operational experience in the Liquor industry, including 3 + years management experience.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in business or marketing (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Are familiar with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
