Your Contribution

If you are looking for a challenge in a team-oriented, friendly and respectful work environment on a growing team, we would love to hear from you. The position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Asphalt laboratory testing to match current NSPW requirements - Marshall Method and Superpave Method, in both a central lab and mobile lab environment.
  • Familiar with current NSPW End-Product-Specification Asphalt specifications and familiarity with asphalt mix properties to propose mix changes or adjustments as needed.
  • Receiving and properly recording all field samples for testing and/or holding.
  • Communicate results effectively with client and Englobe supervisor.
  • Maintain proper record of field test results for review and subsequent submissions.
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules

Your Profile

  • Technical degree or diploma in civil engineering (or equivalent);
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar engineering field;
  • CCIL certification considered an asset;
  • Team-oriented and an excellent communicator;
  • Valid driver's license; and,
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Nova Scotia on a required basis.

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or diploma in civil engineering (or equivalent);
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar engineering field;
  • CCIL certification considered an asset;
  • Team-oriented and an excellent communicator;
  • Valid driver's license; and,
