Our southside client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Controller in all financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

- Bookkeeping
- Understand, apply, and maintain system automations
- Ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy of data entry
- Basic reconciliations: cash, credit card, AR/AP statements of account
- Self-directed routine finance-related administration duties
- New vendor onboarding
- Credit applications
- Document collection
- Follow-up
- Senior accountant
- Self-identify discrepancies and errors. Correct, as able.
- Ensure existence of bills and accruals
- Assist in month-end procedures
- Advanced reconciliations: inventory, fixed assets, payroll
- Prepare routine financial reports
- Ensure system integrity between operations and finance systems
- Additional Requirements
- Identify weaknesses in system automations
- Prepare other financial reports and analysis, as required
- Recommend accounting procedure and policy changes
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- Working towards CPA designation, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years’ experience.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
