Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our manufacturing team in Brampton with additional support to their Woodstock location. Reporting to the Regional HR Manager, this is a key position supporting a global company which offers endless opportunity for progression. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in various HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advisory and administrative support to all levels of the business on HR matters and initiatives.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment, from job postings to new hire documentation.
• Lead the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring proper documentation and training.
• Advise and coach managers on HR policies, best practices, and employee relations.
• Administer employee status changes, amendments, and benefit-related issues, including enrollments and leaves.
• Participate in employee engagement initiatives, chair Social Committee meetings, and organize events.
• Handle immigration documentation and processes.
• Run monthly and ad hoc reports using the HRIS system and Excel.
• Assist with performance and compensation reviews for both hourly and salaried employees.
• Build strong relationships with employees and ensure a safe work environment by following workplace regulations.

Qualifications

• :Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources Management with 2-3 years of experience in an HR Advisor role
• .Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• .CHRP designation is an asset
• .Experience with immigration documentation
• .Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
• .Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• .Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
