We are looking for a seasonal Outside Maintenance Technician to join our Residential Rentals team in Brantford!

About The Role

  • Daily upkeep and maintenance of the community grounds.
  • Maintaining residential townhome lawns and common areas using the latest equipment: stand and ride-on mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, power edgers and utility vehicles.
  • Assist in landscape projects throughout the season: Tree and shrub planting, drainage installation, sod installation, as well as garden planting.
  • Assist in removing litter, leaf and debris, applying mulch, weeding, cultivating and pruning as required.
  • Assist with snow removal.
  • Working in most weather conditions

Experience

  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn about all aspects of grounds maintenance
  • Basic knowledge and operation of garden maintenance, tools, equipment and techniques is an asset but training will be provided
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to perform physical tasks with repeated movements
  • Ability to follow all outlined health and safety requirements
  • Reliable transportation and a driver's license is an asset
