The mandate of this role is to lead and implement national marketing strategies for our practices and sectors. This dynamic position requires developing demand generation and field marketing campaigns that lead to new market opportunities in support of the office managing partners, national practice chairs and sectors heads strategic plans.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to develop and deliver strategic and tactical marketing initiatives and campaigns, effectively lead on multiple projects simultaneously and can assume a decision-making role to achieve objectives and goals collaboratively and quickly. The successful candidate will be versatile and have a broad range of skills and knowledge across various marketing disciplines with a well-rounded understanding of overall marketing strategies and tactics. This is a senior role, leading a team of marketing managers.

You will be focusing on:

  • Responsible for developing the overall market positioning for national practice groups, their practice areas and sectors.
  • Create scalable programs and marketing campaigns that generate and nurture leads.
  • Evaluate, prioritize and plan financial and material resources needed to ensure successful delivery and achieve set objectives.
  • In collaboration with the Market Programs Director, support the national and local practice chairs, managing partners and sector heads in executing their strategic plans.
  • Responsible for understanding and analyzing the competitive landscape to help ensure we have a competitive offering nationally and in local markets.
  • Develop new innovative approaches to increase team efficiency utilizing technology, automation and tools.
  • Contribute to the content development for key practices and sectors.
  • Translating performance of demand generation campaigns to leadership by defining measurable ROI objectives.
  • Continuously develop and seek new strategies to increase touchpoints with clients.
  • Accountable for overall leadership, mentorship and operational excellence of team, including quality, efficiency and effectiveness of work, and internal group processes and performance.
  • Project manage team allocation and timelines to meet specified deadlines.
  • Participate in a planned and meaningful way on key leadership teams (regional, practice, C&M).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues locally, nationally and globally, to deliver and measure the plan.

What you bring to the role:

  • A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in business-to-business marketing, communications and/or business development, preferably in the professional services industry.
  • A passion for demand marketing and willingness to get hands-on building solutions.
  • Thorough understanding of a range of marketing techniques, such as digital marketing and social media marketing.
  • Experience framing and collaboratively solving complex problems through creative problem-solving in a team-based environment.
  • Experience participating in substantial projects with large teams, either from project inception to implementation or involving significant performance demonstrating collaboration, critical thinking, and project management skills.
  • Has led high-performing teams and exhibited strong people leader/trusted advisor skills.
  • Active listener to hear and understand opportunities and challenges.
  • Organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Proactive and collaborative attitude with true understanding of the agility needed to capitalize on the changing market conditions.
  • Superior interpersonal and client management skills.
  • Proven expertise in connecting marketing strategy and outcomes to revenue and ultimately market share gain.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) would be considered an asset.

Vancouver Salary: $132,111 - $214,673$. Salary will be discussed and negotiated during interview and will be based on experience .
