As an Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant (OTA/ PTA) at CBI Home Health, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team that uses an integrated and collaborative approach to service delivery. CBI Home Health has demonstrated that In-Home care can be diverse and individualized with evidence of improved outcomes and satisfaction for personnel, patients and families. CBI Home Health has strengthened the traditional In-Home service delivery model by focusing on a holistic approach to care. As part of the dynamic and self-directed care team, you work together to effectively meet the patient’s goals. This role requires a driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel to clients homes.

What You Need To Be Successful

  • You possess a post-secondary diploma as an Occupational Therapist Assistant/ Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA)
  • Valid Driver's License, Vehicle Insurance, and reliable vehicle is required
  • You have a general knowledge of mobility aids and assistive equipment
  • Your focus is to embrace and support person and family-centered care
  • You are passionate, empathetic, use good judgement and apply critical thinking when making decisions
  • You are known for your excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaboration within an interdisciplinary team as well as work independently
  • You value the role a therapist plays in keeping clients at home when that is of personal importance
