About The Role

We’re looking for an Account Manager who will join as a key member of the group retirement team. The successful candidate will work autonomously and in collaboration with consultants and analysts to service the retirement block of the business. This includes liaising with other internal, client & carrier stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with scheduling and content creation of retirement plan governance reviews
  • Assist with creation of investment reviews and market updates
  • Assist in the implementation and amendments of programs with the insurance carrier on behalf of the client;
  • Prepare for and participate in employee presentations, meetings and benefit fairs
  • Provide ongoing support to Plan Administrators as it relates to the administration of their retirement plan
  • Generate revenue growth opportunities by identifying needs for additional lines of coverage, cross-selling to P&C lines and Wealth Management departments


What You Bring

  • LLQP (Life License Qualification Program) is an asset
  • Completion of AMF examinations (Quebec) an asset
  • Bilingual
  • Investment Knowledge an asset
  • Typically, 4+ in the group insurance industry specifically in group retirement services
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including business writing skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail including strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize/manage workload under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously but also able to collaborate well with team
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)

Nous recherchons un·e gestionnaire de compte qui sera un·e membre clé de l’équipe d’épargne-retraite collective. Le candidat ou la candidate retenu·e travaillera de manière autonome et en collaboration avec des consultants et des analystes pour gérer le secteur d’épargne-retraite de l’entreprise. Il s’agit notamment d’assurer la liaison avec d’autres parties prenantes : internes, clients et assureurs.

  • Aider à la mise en place d’évaluations des investissements et de mises à jour du marché
