Job: Survey Party Chief
Total Geomatics & Consulting is seeking an experienced Party Chief with a strong work ethic to join our fast-growing Land Surveying Company. Reporting to the ALS and Project Manager this position will be responsible for performing field survey work on projects in the Municipal Land Surveying Industry.

Total Geomatics & Consulting is seeking an experienced Party Chief with a strong work ethic to join our fast-growing Land Surveying Company. Reporting to the ALS and Project Manager this position will be responsible for performing field survey work on projects in the Municipal Land Surveying Industry.
Experience/Qualifications
- Experience in Municipal surveying.
- Ability to prepare accurate field notes, field sketches and do calculations.
- Familiar with using Survey Equipment.
- Strong communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Valid applicable safety courses are an asset but will be provided if necessary.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
- Manage and perform all field work.
- Prepare and communicate field notes and sketches, as required for projects.
- Maintain effective communication with project manager, clients and landowners throughout each project.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the Survey Assistant working with you.
- Maintain and follow OH&S and Total Geomatics & Consulting Inc. safety standards.
