Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Temp-to-Perm Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will handle invoice processing and provide full-cycle AP support.

Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including POs, vendor communication, and payments
• Process weekly cheque runs and electronic payments.
• Ensure proper job costing and accurate financial reporting
• Assist with reconciliations and other accounting tasks as needed
• Provide support for audits and other financial inquiries.
• Communicate with accounting team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  
  

Your strengths include:

• 5+ years of experience in an AP role or a similar role.
• Post-secondary education in accounting or related experience.
• Previous experience in Oil and Gas in an asset
• Experience using OpenInvoice is an asset
• Strong understanding of full-cycle AP, including POs and payment runs
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
