What You’ll Do

It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

  • Responsible for providing analytics, data visualization and reporting support for the allocated Logistics Operations function to enable reporting and data led decision making across the department.
  • Partners with Senior Analysts and within the Operations team as allocated (e.g. Inbound, Outbound, MVD & Trade Compliance), with initial oversight from Logistics Reporting Manager to identify and develop reports and dashboards in the areas of vendor performance, store readiness, trade compliance and more, to assist in enhancing understanding of data points
  • Collaborates with team to review insights and adapt solutions for continuous improvement based on changing business needs for planning, optimization, and growth such as Scenario Modelling, Forecasting, Activity Actuals, Month End Reports, Operating Reports, Rolling Plan Data
  • Presents outcomes from analysis, by interpreting information from data to different stakeholders and decision makers to support decision making for run the business and special initiatives and projects.
  • Creates reports and communicates effectively with management to ensure freight costs are managed according to plan
  • Collaborates with Reporting team to access appropriate information needed for modeling scenarios


What You’ll Need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Customs Compliance/Brokerage, with specialty in Tariff Classification
  • Post-Secondary Education in a related field e.g. Commerce & Economics
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in quantitative data analysis
  • Understanding and experience with data warehousing, and with large data sets and extracting, manipulating data for appropriate consumption
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and or Automate with intermediate to advanced Excel experience
  • Advanced research and analytical skills (information gathering, and data analysis), Supply Chain operational experience an asset
  • Good communication skills including written (reports, analyses, etc.), and verbal (communicating regularly with various departments, carriers, etc.)
  • Organizational skills (including the ability to prioritize), which includes ensuring that all reports and tasks are completed meeting the established deadlines


Salary Range: $58,910 - $82,472 /year

  

This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
