CC&L Private Capital is seeking an experienced senior investment writer to join our Communications team. You will have a passion for writing compelling and authoritative content that encourages engagement with our audiences.

What You Will Do

  • Develop content strategy to include considerations for our different external audiences and different delivery platforms
  • Develop and follow content governance guidelines for tone, style, and voice of all content
  • Research, write, edit and publish high-quality content
  • Manage the content calendar and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze content delivered and make recommendations for change
  • Manage the development and ongoing coordination of an effective internal communications process
  • Oversight on the request for proposal (RFP) process
  • Support firm promotional tactics and marketing campaigns as required

About You

  • At least five years of work experience in the investment industry preferably in a marketing or communications role
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations and/or equivalent employment experience
  • Strong financial industry acumen with familiarity with economics, markets, investment sales and product knowledge
  • Exceptional creative and technical writing skills
  • Solid experience developing and fostering relationships within all levels of an organization
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Collaborative team player who demonstrates a “roll up your sleeves” attitude
  • Results-driven with a proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at the same time
  • Well-developed project management skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 365 essential; Salesforce CRM, SharePoint an advantage
  • Proficiency in verbal and written French is an asset

The starting salary for this position is $95,000. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. In addition, there is an annual performance bonus which contributes to the total compensation of this position. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
