We invite applications for the positions of part-time Cashiers to join our team at the Station Square Food Store (10004 99 Ave) located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Open availability is an asset.

What you'll do:
- Provide a high level of prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service at all times.
- Scan items and process transactions in an efficient manner, resolving customer inquiries and issues as needed.
- Handle cash, credit and debit transactions in addition to bagging customer groceries.
- Complete return of merchandise following company policy.
- Stock and clean the front-end merchandising areas including facing of shelves that are closest to the till.
- Complete opening and closing out of registers, reconciling tills following established procedures.
- Provide information to customers regarding memberships and assist in selling of new memberships.
- Share information with customers and members regarding sales, specials and upcoming store events.
- Contribute to a team environment by assisting in other areas as required.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
- You have a High School Diploma
- You have previous retail experience
- You have cash handling experience
- You have excellent customer service skills
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- You're able to work in a team environment
- You're proficient in a fast-paced and time sensitive work environment
- You're able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasional basis
- You have intermediate computer skills
