Job Description:
The TD Equipment Finance (TDEF) team is a Centre of Excellence within TD Specialized Commercial Banking. Our mandate is to structure equipment financing (leases and loans) for business clients and prospects as an alternative to other conventional bank sources of financing such as term loans.
TD Equipment Finance group is seeking individuals interested in starting a career within the commercial equipment finance business.
Applying your skills in a collaborative, team-driven environment, you will assume overall responsibility for business development, credit analysis, developing and implementing marketing support and solicitation programs, as well as various administration duties.
• Support Account Executives in the expansion of their Capital Markets database;
•Prepare and thoroughly analyze credit applications for new Capital Markets opportunities;
• Support Director, TDEF Capital Markets in equipment finance syndications;
• Participate in the legal and administrative process necessary for funding transactions;
• Control delinquency and generate departmental reporting.
Job Requirements :
•2+ years of related experiences in the financial industry or equipment financing;
• CFA, CA, CMA or MBA - Finance Program
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Business
• Knowledge of financial accounting and taxation; Relevant sales and/or customer relationship management experience;
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, demanding, collaborative, team-driven environment;
• Possesses considerable initiative and ability to build relationships;
• Demonstrates a commitment to being customer-centric by ensuring a legendary service is provided during every customer interaction to maximize retention and growth;
• Excellent analytical skills & In-depth knowledge of Financing and Accounting
• Ability to excel at administration and be exceptionally well organized;
