We are looking for a Meter Services Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Field Supervisor you will join a team of dedicated professionals at our Halifax location.

Key Elements Of This Role Include

  • Support in field meter reading and support the timely completion of ReadM ‘s
  • Ensure meter reading skips are proper recorded, trouble codes are entered correctly and worked to completion, and errors are corrected to ensure accurate customer billing
  • Ensure all required reports are run, daily, weekly and monthly, and exceptions resolved in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of new processes, and/or procedures, on behalf of the Meter Services Supervisors
  • Provide daily performance reports that provide accurate and timely feedback to Meter Services Supervisors
  • Provide support to Billing & Payment Services as required.

  • Grade XII education or equivalent
  • Five years minimum experience in dealing with customer service requests and delivery
  • Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills for both internal and external customers.
  • High energy, self-starter who enjoys working in a team environment and can work independently
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills and demonstrate both flexibility and adaptability
  • Experience with meter and/or inspection service functions would be considered an asset
  • A working knowledge of NSPI's Customer Information System, Field Service and Microsoft products are also desired.
