About The Opportunity

The Secretary position exists to receive and/or initiate telephone calls of a routine nature from customers regarding general housekeeping or contract inquiries. They are responsible to act on calls (handle and direct accordingly), schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments, staffing and scheduling, page staff, dialogue with management team, input payroll, handle invoices received, send and process invoices, order supplies, type correspondence, data entry, process filing, make any necessary travel arrangements for management team, receive, open and distribute mail to appropriate person on management team, liaison with outside contract companies (support for department).

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade 12 plus graduate of a recognized office administration/ equivalent to Community College 1 year.
  • Minimum of one year related experience.
  • A skills test may be included as part of the selection process
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

  • Long assignment, full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
  • Assignment is approximately 12 months in length

Compensation And Benefits

$23.06- $25.54 Hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
