Position Purpose
Under direction, loads and unloads trucks. Prepare incoming and outgoing shipments.
Schedule: Tuesday to Friday 5:00 am to 1:30 pm Saturdays 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Hourly wage: CAD 24.15$

Key Job Activities
- Comparing and identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming
- shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders,
- or other records.
- Prepare items for shipment (scan label, place on skid and identify the containers). Move shipments in the transportation unit with a forklift.
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments; rejects damaged items; records shortages, and
- corresponds with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Routes items to appropriate departments, when applicable.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Maintains the integrity of all documentation and properly records the information according to departmental procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
- High School diploma preferred
- One or more years of experience in a manufacturing or processing environment, demonstrating good organizational and attention to detail skills preferred
- Ability to work with a computer database
- Ability and experience driving a forklift.
- Available to work on an evening schedule: Tuesday to Friday 3:00 to 11:30 pm and Saturday 8am to 4:30 pm
- Work location: 1575 Drew Rd
