We are seeking a Quoting & Renewals Specialist to join our Disability Concepts Inc. team in Calgary.

The Quoting & Renewals Specialist will oversee new business development including prospect data gathering, analysis quoting, sales presentation development, and the initial steps of new plan implementations. They will also coordinate contract renewals, contributing to revenue retention, and foster long-term customer relationships. Additionally, the Quoting & Renewals Specialist will be assigned a small portfolio of clients and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a variety of general administrative and transactional activities.

The Quoting & Renewals Specialist will:

• Support the sales team and manage new leads from start to finish.
• Collect quoting data for all prospects.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams at insurance carriers to design unique long-term disability insurance and critical illness insurance proposals for corporations in a variety of industries.
• Perform contract analysis to ensure proposed plan is in-line or enhanced comparted to current in force LTD benefits and confirm no errors.
• Develop quote spreadsheets and calculate composite rates.
• Prepare and present documents including financial models and PowerPoints to prospective clients that are customized and tailored to their business needs.
• Update revenue tracking tables for commission reporting.
• Update Partners on case development including stalled projects, received data, etc.
• Lead client onboarding and plan implementations through frequent touchpoints while adding the assigned Account Manager in transition to taking the lead.
• Provide thorough analysis of renewal pricing and present recommendation to sales team for negotiations.
• Analyze and compare insurance products, services, and contracts where additional quotes are requested.
• Assist clients with complex billing questions, rate estimations, cost comparisons, and ad hoc analytic reports.
• Create claims analysis where needed alongside renewal documents
• Manage a small block of clients; respond to enquiries, maintaining strong relationships, acquiring a thorough understanding of client benefit plans to guide them, process all employee changes, process and deliver all new insurance policies to employees, create monthly client bills, and reconcile data to employee transaction records, and manage all client payments.
