We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Regional Sales Manager, preferably in or around the Calgary, AB area, who is passionate about making a tangible impact in the healthcare industry. This role will be responsible for Capsa's Canadian territories west of Ontario.

As a Regional Sales Manager, your contributions to the team will include:

  • Works with the Director of Sales to create and execute strategic growth plans that exceed company financial objectives
  • Develops, manages, and grows sales throughout Western Canada and utilizes the entire Capsa Healthcare product portfolio
  • Develops and executes business development and prospecting strategies within Western Canada
  • Responsible for selling Medication and Medical Carts, Point of Care Products, and all other appropriate Capsa Healthcare products through a mix of Direct Selling efforts and utilization of Partners
  • Increases Capsa’s presence within hospitals and leverages key decision makers and influencers in pharmacy, end user clinical roles, supply chain, IT, and administration by providing a comprehensive strategy promoting the value of Capsa’s complete product and service solutions
  • Develops monthly/quarterly product forecasts and business plans to achieve pre-defined strategies and financial objectives
  • Conducts and coordinates demonstrations and evaluations, being responsible for the administration, coordination, attendance coverage, in-servicing, and necessary follow-up for each event
  • Maintains CRM database to include opportunity detail, forecast, and pipeline data. Regular and consistent maintenance is required
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge and expertise within the healthcare Canada marketplace
  • Attends trade shows as needed or as directed by the Director of Sales
  • Must understand and comply with Capsa’s ISO, Safety, and other corporate programs, initiatives, and procedures.

What We Ask Of You

  • BS or BA degree preferred
  • Experience with selling into the hospitals and health centres such products as Medication & Medical carts, applicable software, and Mobile Computing Workstations is strongly preferred
  • Three (3) or more years of sales experience is required, preferably with capital equipment in the healthcare industry, specifically the Extended Care and/or Acute Care segments
  • Proven ability to develop and implement an effective business plan and manage a long-term sales cycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven ability to interact and influence customers in various market segments, strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Strong project management skills and high level of proficiency in Microsoft office programs
