Compensation Type Fee-for-Service Estimated Remuneration $500,000+ Physician Overhead ZERO!
Benefits and Incentives
Vacation Leave 6-8 weeks annually including CME May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Retention Premium 24.50% Retention Flat Fee $37,968 Relocation Funding Available $9,000-15,000 Recruitment Incentive $20,000 Other Benefits/Incentives Rural Continuing Medical Education (RCME) available: Up to 2 years $1,800; In 3rd & 4th year $4,800; after 4 years $7,800. Relocation funding available: $15,000 if relocating from outside of Canada; $12,000 if relocating within Canada but outside of BC; $9,000 if relocating within BC. Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) funding is subject to change without notice.

- Provide patient assessments and treatment planning
- Provide ongoing patient centered consultation and education to physicians and interdisciplinary mental health teams to advance effective treatment.
- Participate in provision of area-based continuum of psychiatric services including assessment of patients in the regional hospital observation unit.
