Agilus is recruiting for a Lead Electrical Engineer in the Engineering Sector in Sarnia, Ontario.
As a Lead Electrical Engineer you will support a team of engineers, assign work and provide leadership, guidance and assist in overcoming any technical issues.

As a Lead Electrical Engineer you will support a team of engineers, assign work and provide leadership, guidance and assist in overcoming any technical issues.
A Typical Day
- Support the development of a team of Electrical Engineers by assigning work, providing leadership/guidance, and mentoring the team to overcome technical issues.
- Develop the process scope of work and engineering hour estimates for proposals.
- Support business development activities.
- Complete conceptual and detailed engineering designs in compliance with the project executions plan and regulatory guidelines.
- Interface with the project team members and clients. Ensuring to coordinate with the client to ensure timely receipt and delivery of information.
- Define, plan, and steward engineering scope of work and monitor schedule, costs, quality (key drawings, design concepts, calculations, checking, etc.).
- Complete reporting and estimates.
- Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario.
- 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong background in EPCM/industrial plant environments.
- A background in the chemical industry is considered an asset.
- Able to commute to office/site.
