Role and Facility Information

Working as a full service family physician in a newer clinic in downtown Campbell River, you would be building a practice that suits your interests. We have recently relocated to a brand new building, enjoying abundant space and natural light throughout. Highlights of our office space include a procedure room with electric bed to make positioning for procedures easier, as well as a shared office space for collaborative working with colleagues in the office. Our Clinic is involved in our Primary Care Network (PCN) and has access to a registered dietitian, clinical pharmacist and social worker for our patients. We have a billing expert onsite regularly. We work as an integrated team of two family physicians and a nurse practitioner. We share our excellent admin staff amongst the providers. Our EMR is Oscar hosted through Juno. Providers bill under the LFP system. Overhead amounts are up for discussion; if you chose to do a new to practice contract, we won't charge additional overhead over the set amount. You would be supported to do in-patient work at the hospital, including group weekend coverage options. Maternity, ER, surgical assists, LTC available if you are interested. We are a teaching office with medical students and residents around regularly; we can support you in more teaching opportunities, if you are interested. Benefits: May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:

Recruitment Incentive - $10,000; Fee Premium - 6.93%; Annual Flat Fee - $10,739.52; Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to a maximum of $15,000 (amount based on funding availability and on location relocating from); Rural CME starting at $2,200/annum in years 3 & 4 in the community, increasing to a maximum of $4,400/annum after 4 years
