Job Description

MAJOR DUTIES:

This successful candidate will coordinate a variety of duties that will support inventory best practices, internal order tracking and returns/repairs processing on the Spare Parts Distribution After Sales & Service team - their mission to provide outstanding service to ATS’s customer base.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be a driver for data integrity – you’ll be helping with inventory data clean-up initiatives and the development of procedures to maintain quality data within our ERP system.
  • Work closely with Spare parts Warehouse team to coordinate items required for customer orders, communicating priorities in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain team to expedite items needed for urgent spare parts orders.
  • Tracking and coordination of spare parts required for projects.
  • Tracking and upkeep of tickets within the Spares Kanban board in Jira.
  • Support maintenance of Spare Parts metrics and KPI reporting and support.
  • Process internal and external SRMA’s and customer warranty requests.
  • Support action item monitoring reporting with the Distribution Manager.
  • Tracking, development and reporting of continual improvement, PSE and 5S initiatives within the Spare Parts team.
  • Be curious: Learn what’s important to our customers to foresee and identify their stocking needs.
  • Bring creativity and a solution-centric approach to any issues that may arise.
  • Help to evolve (as/where needed) existing internal processes for cleaner, more simple work and better alignment across departments.
  • Additional duties as the spare parts business grows.

Additional Information

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in an inventory or supply chain related role using MRPII/ERP software (preference will be given to those with JD Edwards experience).

Education & Skills:

  • A post-secondary education in the field of Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to co-ordinate and prioritize tasks and assignments and demonstrate attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Lean & Continuous Improvement concepts, tools and methodology.
  • Bonus points for previous experience with JIRA and/or Oracle Service Cloud.

  • Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct
