Managed Print Specialist Role Description

Join our team as a Managed Print Services Specialist (MPSS) and become an integral part of shaping the document processes landscape in the fast-paced technology-driven printing industry. We're seeking dedicated individuals who are excited to make a meaningful impact and thrive in the dynamic world of digital printing solutions.

As a Managed Print Services Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of expanding Managed Print Services contracts within our existing client base and exploring new opportunities with non-Xerox clients. Your expertise in utilizing the Managed Print Services toolset and solutions will be instrumental in enhancing document processes for our clients. You will be aligned by region with Xerox Agents to support their MPS Sales offerings to our mutual clients.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

Achieving Sales Targets:

  • Attain Active Devices Managed (ADM) targets for the assigned territory.
  • Execute consistent sales activities for deals involving more than 15 units, including leading impactful calls such as Managed Print Services (MPS) Presentations, MPS Assessments, MPS Validation Meetings, and MPS Proposals.
  • Develop and implement programs to generate and maintain an adequate pipeline of Managed Print Services leads.
  • Sales Strategy and Consultation:

Serve as an expert in MPS sales cycles:

  • Collaborate, with Agencies, Client Managers & Sales Reps, and MPS Consultants to effectively navigate MPS sales cycles.
  • Apply a consultative approach to assess client requirements, activity levels, and associated print costs.
  • Work closely with sales teams to assist them in achieving their targets.
  • Create comprehensive proposals, encompassing floor plans, current costs, and recommended future solutions.
  • Utilize Xerox's Print Services Assessment tools to enhance solution recommendations.

Market Awareness and Innovation:

  • Stay updated on current and evolving technologies to incorporate into recommended solutions.
  • Represent the sales function while ensuring adherence to company values, pricing, and sales policies, and achieving sales objectives.
  • Generate innovative concepts, challenge existing perspectives, and gain stakeholder buy-in for the development of new offerings.
  • Provide market insights to support Marketing in enhancing existing services or introducing new ones.
  • Conduct initial financial analyses of solutions to showcase compelling financial benefits for both clients and Xerox.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred, demonstrating your commitment to continuous learning and growth.
  • Technology Expertise: Prior experience in technology hardware and services sales is highly preferred, showcasing your industry knowledge and readiness to hit the ground running.
