Title: Nursing Program Administrative Assistant

Contract: Perm

Hours: Casual

Location: Ulkatcho - Anahim Lake, BC (Approximately 4 hours west of Williams Lake BC)

Bargaining Unit: PSAC Local 22000 (Public Service Alliance of Canada)

About The Role

As a Casual Nursing Program Administrative Assistant, you will provids a variety of administrative support services under the supervision of a Nurse In Charge or Community Health Nurse, and provide reception and general information services to First Nations clients, partners, and communities.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have/be -

  • Successful completion of Grade 12, including completion of one year of post-secondary education in Business or Office Administration, plus one (1) year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Familiarity with the traditions and customs of the First Nations peoples of British Columbia
  • Prior experience working in a First Nations environment.

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.

As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID- 19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
