Position Summary

The Network Implementation Specialist is our customers first onsite impression of our company at Bulletproof. This exciting role provides the candidate a dynamic fast paced role responsible for installing new infrastructure, cloud services and maintaining the IT infrastructure for clients of Bulletproof. The IT infrastructure includes network and server hardware, and security components that support the business operations and goals of Bulletproof and its clients. The implementation specialist works closely with the implementation team, such as solution design, network specialists, monitoring team, and project managers, to ensure the infrastructure is deployed and setup for optimal performance and availability of the solution.

Responsibilities

  • Be a champion for Bulletproof as the onsite coordinator for onboarding to our services.
  • Plan and implement IT infrastructure projects for Bulletproof and its clients, such as network upgrades, firewall migrations, wireless assessments and installations, network upgrades and security enhancements.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and security devices, such as servers, switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and backup systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff of Bulletproof clients, resolving issues and escalating problems as needed and implementation of new clients.
  • Research and evaluate new deployment technologies and solutions, recommending improvements and best practices for the deployment of IT infrastructure.
  • Mounting, labeling, cable management and documenting network equipment in racks in network racks at client site.
  • Improvement of the delivery process using automation and scripting where possible.
  • Provides hands on training, training materials and documentation for client equipment to employees when necessary and knowledge transfer of migration projects for proper support.

Required Education/Credentials/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or college degree for information systems, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least three years of experience in IT infrastructure implementation, administration, or support.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in network hardware, servers technologies, such as Fortinet, Cisco, Windows Server, Linux, VMware.
  • Certifications in IT infrastructure, such as CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NCE, Cisco CCNA, etc., are preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strong communication skills.
  • Hold a valid driver license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
  • Ability to travel 50-70% of the time, depending on the project requirements and client locations.
  • Being able to physically lift equipment at client sites.
