General Operative in Halifax

Here at JN Bentley we are looking for enthusiastic and positive General Operatives to join our civil gangs who live in and around Halifax to work on our sites across the Yorkshire area.
In the role you will work as part of a gang on various construction sites predominantly within the water industry. You will have a proactive attitude towards work and health and safety, with experience of general civils work, concreting and pipe laying.
Candidate Specification
Competitive rates of pay - salary is negotiable dependant on experience.

Please include any details of your experience working in the water industry, deep drainage, pipelaying and specific pipework within your application.

Candidate Specification
- Experience within a wide range of Civil Engineering – particularly general civils work, concreting and pipe-laying.
- Ideally holding your CSCS or CPCS / NOCN Plant Card.
- CPCS/NOCN Plant cards (Forward Tipping Dumper, Ride on Roller) would be advantageous, but training given if needed.
- National Water Hygiene Card
- Slinger signaller
- Confined Spaces C+G
- NRASWA
- Driving Licence
