Oracle HCM Consultant (Payroll & Absence Management)

Description

We are in search of an Oracle HCM Consultant (Payroll & Absence Management) to join our clients team operating in the Oil & Gas industry. This Oracle HCM Consultant opportunity is offered remotely for a client based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, working in MST or PST, and offers a 12-month initial term, with the possibility of extension. As an Oracle HCM Consultant, your responsibilities will involve providing post-implementation support, enhancing and troubleshooting our Oracle HCM Cloud system, and training end-users.

Responsibilities

• Implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience
• Provide expert support for Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll and Absence Management modules
• Diagnose and resolve functional issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
• Adjust system configurations to address changing business requirements and enhance module functionality
• Develop and execute test plans for enhancements and bug fixes to ensure system integrity and accuracy
• Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, ensuring their proficiency in using the Oracle HCM Cloud system
• Maintain detailed documentation of system changes, configurations, and processes
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations, leveraging Oracle HCM Cloud capabilities
• Ensure all Payroll and Absence Management processes comply with relevant regulations and standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system enhancements that improve efficiency and user experience.
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in Oracle HCM Cloud, specifically in Payroll and Absence Management modules.
• Experience with post-implementation support, enhancements, and bug fixes is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in Cloud Technologies.
• Strong understanding of Business Process Functions and Business Requirement Document creation.
• Expertise in Configuration Management.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
