Manufacturing Engineer

We are currently seeking for the following position to join our team. Our service team has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer located in our Saskatoon facility. The selected candidate for this role will be responsible for supporting the planning and production of parts for steam and gas turbines.
Responsibilities:
· Promote a safe working environment.
· Support scheduling, planning and implementation of parts manufacturing.
· Support technical discussions with internal engineering.
· Support customer discussions regarding recommended parts.
· Preparation and completion of quality documentation.
· Support development of manufacturing costing and pricing.
· Participate in continuous improvement processes to optimize manufacturing operations
· Provide budget, quality and schedule progress reports on regular intervals.
· Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
· Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
· Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of third parties.
· Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity at all times.
· Adhere to Mitsubishi corporate values for interactions with customers and fellow team members
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirement/Qualifications:
· Comply with all company policies and procedures.
· Mechanical engineering degree or technologist diploma.
· Legally able to work in Canada
· Read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents.
· Ability to determine a manufacturing plan.
· Ability to work with all levels of trades, co-workers and customers.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a team.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
· Computer skills
