Summary

As an Inside Sales Representative at DSV Road Canada, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships within the supply chain and logistics sector. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying prospects, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions that align with our service offerings.

Key Duties And Responsibilities


  • Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, and cold calling. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand clients' supply chain challenges and logistics requirements. Provide consultative solutions that align with our company's offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients. Demonstrate how DSV's solutions can address their specific needs and add value.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Serve as a primary point of contact and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and other team members to develop and implement sales strategies. Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape. Use this knowledge to identify opportunities and challenges in the market.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status. Provide regular reports and updates to the Sales Manager.

  • Supports organizational commitment to ISO 9001, ISO 45001 certification – Montreal location
  • Perform assigned tasks to support DSV meets its objectives and targets regarding quality, health, safety, and environment and follow all requirements as set out in the DSV Quality Health Safety Environment policy.
  • Staff are required to ensure that their day-to-day activities embrace sustainability, Health and safety therefore reducing the impact upon the environment, supporting the communities we work in and reducing incidents in the workplace.


Qualifications

Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.3 -5 Year of industry experience
  • 2+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in the supply chain, logistics, or transportation industry. Experience with B2B sales is an advantage.
  • CIFFA certificate, an asset

  • English is the principal language for this position, additional languages may be required in other locations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse multicultural environment.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in Customer Relationship Management tools (CRM)


Physical Demands


  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing at a desk and working on a computer
  • Travel optional
  • Regular working hours apply for this position, at times, working beyond these hours may be required by business needs.
