About The Opportunity

Reporting to the Program Manager for Neuro/SCI, the physiotherapy porter provides an escort service for physiotherapy, within the NSRAC, as requested. This may include patients and equipment. Further to this, the physiotherapy porter provides on-deck supervision in the therapeutic pool.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade 12/GED required
  • Must be proficient in verbal and written skills and have the ability to interact well with staff, patients and the general public
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and solve minor problems
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
  • Physical Demands: Required to be walking or standing 90% of working hours. Must be capable of performing physically demanding tasks.

Hours

  • Long assignment, Full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
  • Approximately a 12-month assignment

Compensation And Benefits

$20.13 - $21.69 Hourly

Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
