Systems Analyst Job Details
- We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst who will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical systems and business needs.
- The scope of responsibilities includes the support, maintenance, and enhancement of both custom and commercial off-the-shelf applications.
- In addition, be able to leverage technical expertise to address incidents and problems offering effective solutions.
- This role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyzing processes, suggesting inventive solutions to elevate operational efficiency and translating requirements into documentation.
- Degree or Diploma in Computing Science, Computer Engineering, or Management
- Information Systems.
- 5+ years of experience supporting, maintaining, and enhancing commercial off the shelf
- (COTS) and corporate software.
- 5+ years of experience in supporting and configuring the ServiceNow platform.
- 3+ years of experience with facilitating requirements gathering sessions, and requirements documentation.
- 3+ years of experience in query writing using T-SQL or PL/SQL against a commercial database such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
- 2+ years of experience in Microsoft .NET C# programming.
- Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how the framework applies to custom-build and commercial off the shelf (COTS) implementations.
- Ability to effectively perform quality assurance.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot low-medium complexity technical issues to identify the root cause and provide recommendations to address the issue.
- Ability to communicate highly technical information in a clear and concise manner to peers and business representatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
