The Journeyman Carpenter is responsible for constructing and maintaining buildings.

Required knowledge includes: construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control and safety.

The Journeyman Carpenter must be proficient at the following tasks: hanging doors, drilling and setting door hardware, setting windows, layout for stairs and common rafters, formwork, and reading blueprints. The carpenter must also possess the mathematical and analytical skills necessary to do materials estimates.



  • Ticketed Journeyperson Carpenter
  • Experienced with a large General Contractor
  • Experience in Commercial Construction
  • Concrete experience preferred
  • Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract preferred
  • CSTS 2020 required
