Our client, a renowned international company in industrial transformation and manufacturing, is seeking a Procurement Officer for its site located in Laval.

Tasks

  • Place orders based on received purchase requisitions.
  • Validate compliance with commercial agreements and deadlines with existing suppliers.
  • Confirm prices according to agreements.
  • Formalize orders for mechanical parts, custom parts, and raw materials for production.
  • Ensure administrative consistency for all supplier orders (contracts, payment terms, Incoterms, deadlines, etc.).
  • Ensure receipt confirmations for orders, verify them, and address discrepancies internally or with suppliers.
  • Follow up with suppliers and handle cases of non-compliance (delays, incorrect prices, non-conformity), keeping requesters informed.
  • Track and justify late deliveries.
  • Coordinate material pick-up/shipment with the logistics department.
  • Ensure proof of delivery is obtained for equipment delivered directly on-site.
  • Create and update the supplier price list in accordance with purchasing agreements.
  • Perform any others related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Technical diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of custom parts, mechanical parts, motorization, and electrical automation.
  • Proficiency in both French and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel, and ERP systems.
