We are seeking an Engineer, Project Manager to work in our Water Resources department out of either our Barrie or Collingwood office.

This position is responsible for undertaking field investigations, surface water monitoring, construction inspections, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, drainage and stormwater management designs and flood and erosion hazard assessments. This role will also assist with the design of municipal infrastructure and land development projects involving site servicing, storm and sanitary sewers, watermains, rural and urban roads and parking lots. Familiarity with the execution of Master Drainage Plans and climate change innovations in water resources will be considered an asset as well.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and providing technical direction on a variety of water resources projects and assisting the department with business development.

Key Position Requirements

  • P.Eng. in the Province of Ontario
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant water resources experience
  • Experience with technical modeling software (OTTHYMO, PCSWMM and HEC-RAS)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Experience with project management and business development
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and timelines
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
