Purpose
This job is located at Hoyle Pond, part of Newmont's Porcupine mine site near Timmins, ON.
In this role you will work a 5x5x4 schedule, as such if you do not live in the area, we will require relocation

Dimensions
This position reports to the underground supervisor
Purpose
- Is responsible for their health and safety as well as others.
- Will correct or report unsafe practices or conditions.
- Maintains a safe and healthy place to work.
- Make suggestions to improve any aspect of safety and correct issues wherever possible.
- Will understand and follow Newmont policies and procedures as outlined in the FRM handbook.
- Learns and follows the safety rules and procedures for safe performance of the job.
- Must be able to operate utility vehicles to deliver crews to workplaces
- Must be able to operate boom truck
- Must perform general housekeeping
- Must have lifting, rigging, hoisting course
- Deliver supplies and materials including explosives
- Perform audits as required
- Other duties as assigned by the Frontline Supervisor
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of (12) months mining experience
- Fall arrest training
- Heavy machinery experience an asset
- Underground Common Core Certificate
- U0013 Operate Lifting Mechanism(s)
- U0024 Operate Utility Vehicle
